The use of essential oils has grown in recent years and has vast health and lifestyle applications. Obtained through the distillation process, these oils contain fragrances and other properties from plants or other sources. Smelling the aroma of essential oils alone can elicit powerful emotional, mental, and physiological responses. I love to apply essential oils topically to skin, take them internally, or use them as aroma therapy in a diffuser to uplift my mood and add a refreshing scent to my space.
